The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila recognizes its responsibilities under the Republic Act No. 10173 (Act), also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, with respect to the data they collect, record, organize, update, use, consolidate or destruct from the data subject. The personal data obtained from this portal is entered and stored within the school authorized information, enrollment and communication system and will only be accessed by the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila authorized personnel. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila had instituted appropriate organizational, technical and physical security measures to ensure the protection of the student personal data. Furthermore, the information collected and stored in the portal shall only be used for the following purposes:

1. Processing and reporting of documents related to the enrollment, CHED, DepEd and other accrediting agencies under certain conditions as may be required by the lawful order of the courts or in cases of emergency as defined under the Data Privacy Law.

2. Announcements/promotions of events, programs, courses and other activities offered/organized by the College and its partners. Activities pertaining to establishing relations with students.

3.Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila shall not disclose my personal information without my consent and shall retain my information over a period of ten years for the effective implementation and management of information.

STUDENT CONSENT

I have read the Data Privacy Statement and express my consent for the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila to collect, record, organize, update or modify, retrieve, consult, use, consolidate, block, erase or destruct my personal data as may be required by the lawful order of the courts or in cases of emergency as defined under the Data Privacy Law. I hereby affirm my right to be informed, object to processing, access and rectify, suspend or withdraw my personal data, and be indemnified in case of damages pursuant to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 10173 of the Philippines, Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations.
